My name is Dylan Rollo, and I am a PhD Candidate in Rhetoric and Public Culture. I worked as a Writing Tutor at the Writing Center during my BA degree at Drake University before continuing on to Syracuse University to earn my MA. My research interests include visual culture, architecture, and the geography of race and gender. My dissertation analyzes rhetorical design choices made in utopian media to describe their effects on the political imagination. I love helping others analyze objects and make effective arguments, and the Writing Place has given me the opportunity to apply that passion to engaging writing from across the disciplines.
